We report on the House taking up the $7.1 billion education budget. We will be joined by Rep. Danny Garrett of Trussville, who discusses his role in helping craft the spending plan as a member of the budget committee. Garrett also talks about final passage of legislation he carried that would tie state jobless benefits to the unemployment rate. We also report on a public hearing on a bill that would legalize medical marijuana in the state.
